Our Site Plan Process

FAQ

What Site Plan Is best for me?

Residential: Our most popular plan is Site Plan B. This is the most popular order because it allows for many options typically seen when a property owner needs a site plan created for their property.

Commercial: If you are working on a commercial property then site plan c is recommended.

Raw Land: If your property is raw untouched land and are starting a new development we recommend you contact us so that we can further understand your needs.

When will you send the site plan?

Our site plans are sent out within 24 hours of you finalizing your order and typically even faster than that!

If we have spoken to you about a custom site plan then an estimated time frame will be provided at the time of discussion.

I made my site plan order, now what?

Your order has been received by our team and is currently being reviewed to make sure that we have all the information we need to create a site plan draft.

Once the site plan draft is sent back to you, please review for completeness and that it meets whatever discussions you have had with the city/county.

If there are any changes needed please make the changes onto the plan and see FAQ about changes to the site plan.

What is the accuracy of your site plans?

Our site plans utilize the most up to date technology and GIS data available for the location. There are many variables that GIS data has so the precision can vary. This third pary data should always be verified as Property Site Plan does not do site visits to each property and cannot make any guarantees of the accuracy of the data. With that said the plans will be able to help you pass site plan review with your municipalities. If something doesn't match up on your site we always recommend hiring a surveyor to confirm any discrepencies.

What if I need Hard Copies?

Property Site Plan does not provide hard copies, only digital copies for our clients to use.

If you do need hard copies we recommend utilizing your local library, Fedex, or UPS stores for all your printing needs. Be sure to print the size of the sheet to the correct size the municipality requires for approval.

With the advancement of technology our municipalities are slowly adopting submittal process over the internet but still allow for hard copy submittals if required.

What if I need changes to the site plan?

In our world revisions are typical! If the city, county, or your self has changes or comments about the plans please mark up the plans directly and send us a pdf of your mark up.

Pdfs are best marked up in a pdf viewer but not everyone has that capability. Hand drawn marks ups work as well. We recommend utilizing a red pen to ensure all mark ups are received so we can expedite the changes to your site plan.

TIP! Be sure you have all the comments from the each division of the city or county as this could cause another round of changes for the site plan.
